In 2016, I served on the RNC Platform Committee in Cleveland where I fought to defend traditional family values by keeping them in our National Party’s platform.

In 2024, there was a similar attempt to remove God and the Pro-Life planks from our State Party Platform at the convention in St. Paul. Republicans from Metro BPOUs tried to rush through these radical changes. But God put the microphone in front of my chair that day for a reason. I used it and my parliamentary experience to lead the floor fight to reject these radical changes and save the platform.
